Ein weiteres Bild aus Hamburg, das einfach nicht fehlen darf – die Reeperbahn.

Kaum ein Ort steht so sehr für das bunte, laute und kreative Gesicht der Hansestadt wie St. Pauli. Zwischen Neonlichtern, Musikclubs und unzähligen Geschichten pulsiert hier das Leben – Tag und Nacht.

Mit meinem Urban Sketch wollte ich nicht nur eine Straße zeichnen, sondern die besondere Atmosphäre einfangen. Die vielen Schilder, Farben und kleinen Details erzählen von einem Viertel, das sich ständig verändert und doch seinen unverwechselbaren Charakter bewahrt.

Für mich lebt Urban Sketching von genau diesen Eindrücken: Orte nicht perfekt abzubilden, sondern ihre Seele sichtbar zu machen.

Hamburg hat viele Gesichter – die Reeperbahn ist sicherlich eines der spannendsten.

Another painting from Hamburg that simply couldn’t be left out – the Reeperbahn.

Few places represent the colorful, vibrant, and creative spirit of Hamburg quite like St. Pauli. Between neon lights, music clubs, and countless stories, this neighborhood is alive day and night.

With this urban sketch, I didn’t just want to draw a street—I wanted to capture its unique atmosphere. The signs, colors, and countless little details reflect a place that is constantly changing while keeping its unmistakable identity.

For me, urban sketching is about more than accuracy. It’s about capturing the soul of a place and preserving a personal moment in time.

Hamburg has many faces—and the Reeperbahn is certainly one of its most iconic.
